Hazel’s ability to merge the creative with the technical to produce user friendly information and graphics that promote understanding for individual clients as well as group training outcomes is now a key focus.
Philip Mulvey
As a soil scientist Philip has a genuine passion for soil. He founded Environmental and Earth Sciences International (EESI) based out of Sydney, rehabilitating degraded land and contaminated soils as the cornerstone of his business.
He has long wanted to apply his scientific expertise to agricultural soils, as he believes productivity can be improved by identifying and addressing the needs of the soil, in particular by strategies to improve the accumulation of organic matter. It was this desire to be part of the solution to sustainable agricultural production that saw him join forces with like-minded Peter and Hazel McInerney to launch 3D-Ag in 2008.
"Lifting the organic matter stored (in the soil) is good for yields, landscape health, river quality and farmer profitability. It can also take vast amounts of carbon out of the atmosphere." from an interview with Philip by John Durie (2010)
While Philip is not on site at the Wagga Wagga office he likes nothing better than coming to the country and talking to farmers about their soils during 3D-Ag's Soil workshops or field days.
